Firm Also Announces Senior Lending Investment Professional Mark Tamburello Joins Company as Principal in Charlotte Office
New York, February 27, 2020 – Churchill Asset Management LLC (“Churchill”), an investment-specialist affiliate of Nuveen providing customized financing solutions to private equity firms and their portfolio companies, today announced the promotions of several employees, including Head of Operations Heather McNally to Managing Director. The firm also announced the hire of Mark Tamburello to the senior lending Underwriting & Portfolio Management team as Principal.
Since joining Churchill in early 2016, Head of Operations Ms. McNally has been responsible for building out Churchill’s loan operations team, in addition to overseeing the firm’s CLO platform and leverage facilities. Ms. McNally has more than 14 years of loan operations and CLO management experience.

Mr. Tamburello had previously joined Churchill’s predecessor, Churchill Financial, in 2010 and remained with the firm through its ownership by The Carlyle Group, where he served as a private credit investment professional for nine years. He brings fourteen years of experience evaluating investment opportunities across the capital structure to the firm and will be based in Churchill’s Charlotte, NC office.
