Churchill’s Dodson Worthington Named a 2022 ‘Rising Star’ by Private Debt Investor

New York, NY, November 2, 2022 – Churchill Asset Management LLC, an investment-specialist affiliate of Nuveen, today announced that Dodson Worthington, a Principal on the firm’s Junior Capital & Private Equity Solutions team, was named to Private Debt Investor’s (PDI) 2022 Rising Stars list. The list recognizes trailblazing individuals under the age of 40 for their career achievements and potential to shape the future of the asset class.

Since joining the Junior Capital & Private Equity Solutions team in 2014, Mr. Worthington has invested over $2.5 billion in middle market companies and more than $1.5 billion of limited partner capital across a highly curated group of private equity sponsors through the firm’s fund commitment strategy. He currently sits on several private equity fund advisory boards and is a member of Churchill’s Senior Leadership Counsel.

Mr. Worthington also has a passion for community service. He has served as a mentor within Urban Promise Charlotte for seven years, where he helps guide high school students from underprivileged backgrounds through the college acceptance process. Additionally, Mr. Worthington is a long-time and active supporter of multiple reputable Charlotte, NC charities that combat disease, hunger, and inequality, including Levine Children’s Hospital, Charlotte Opportunity Fund and Loaves & Fishes.

The 2022 Rising Star award recipients were selected by Private Debt Investor’s editorial team and included in the publication’s Future of Private Debt report.
