Brynjar is a Managing Director, Senior Investment Strategist at Churchill. In his role, he partners closely with the Nuveen Private Capital (comprised of Churchill and Arcmont)and Nuveen investor relationship teams, bringing deep investment expertise and developing tailored U.S. private credit solutions for institutional investors across the U.K., Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Prior to joining Churchill in 2025, Brynjar was a Managing Director at PJT Park Hill Group, advising investors across Europe on private placements for alternative investment funds. Previously, he spent eight years at The Carlyle Group, where he was responsible for private credit fundraising across the EMEA region. Before that, Brynjar held positions at Blackstone and CLSA.
Brynjar graduated from SOAS University of London with a B.A. (Hons) in Geography and Development Studies. He completed the CFEP from London Business School. Brynjar is a patron of the Royal Academy of Arts and the British Film Institute and sits on the oversight boards of the SOAS endowment and the Blue Cross Animal Rescue Charity.
